Didn't find anything on Black Friday or Cyber Monday? This could be the deal you are looking for.
A 100 year old home in the beautiful community of Rosedale, BC is being offered up for sale - for free. The house itself, a beautiful heritage home, will cost you nothing - but of course there is a catch.
The house has to be moved off the property is sits on, which is slated for development early next year. Tycrop Manufacturing is offering the house for free in attempt to save the historic home, and has even helped out a bit with the costs of moving it.
Those costs are predicted to run about $130,000 - to move the house, lay a new foundation, and get all the necessary hook-ups done. An individual made plans to do so and started the process, but was unable to complete the move, so the house still sits - ready to go.
The house has a deadline of February 1st, 2014. If it has not been moved by then it will be "reclaimed" and the salvaged bricks and beams reused in other projects.
