We aren't the only ones breaking records - according to the Calgary Herald, 2013 has been a record year in upper-end residential real estate in Calgary and the surrounding area.
There have been over 680 MLS sales of homes $1 Million or more, and that is only up to November 26th. 2012 had set a record as well - and that was only 544 homes.
Every month this year so far, except January, has set a new record in the luxury home market in Calgary.
Individual home sale records have been broken as well. The highest priced residential sale ever in Calgary sold this year at $11.1 Million. Canmore also set a record, a single-family home sold for $3.75 Million earlier this year.
A booming economy in Calgary is sparking their housing market to new heights - especially in the high end homes.
